There’s no reason to try to be “somebody” when you already are “somebody.” I know it can be tough to believe that sometimes, especially if you’ve been down on yourself. But, God’s never looked down on you - He’s only ever looking up.

So, if you’ve been caught up wishing you were someone else, or someplace new, you really don’t need to do that anymore. You’re not them, and you're not there, because you don’t need to be. You’re who you are and where you are because God knows exactly what He’s doing.

He knows every step you need to take, when you need to take them, and how they need to be taken. He also knows there’s nobody else who can fill your shoes, because He made those steps just for you.

So, if you’ve had your head down lately, go ahead and lift it back up. You don’t need to be there before you’re “somebody” here. And, if you need reminding, just remember your shoes. No one can fill them but you.
