Insight (106)

When you don’t know what to do, or you’re not sure where you’ll head to next, it can feel a little overwhelming. I don’t know about you, but when this happens to me, there seems to be about a thousand different thoughts battling for my attention.

Some thoughts say it’ll be alright while others say just the opposite. It’s a lot like Tug of War, both sides fighting for focus. What’s different about mind games though, is that we get to choose who wins.

Here’s the thing - Our mind is pulled toward whichever thoughts we turn to most. So, if we want the good thoughts to win, we’ll need to dig our heels in, tighten our grip, and turn our attention to what sounds like faith.

The more often we do that, the stronger our faith becomes, and the sooner the good thoughts win. So, if you’ve been standing on the sidelines, it’s time to get in the game. It’s time to choose your thoughts. It’s time to decide who wins.
