Victoria Noel

We’re stoked to have our friend Victoria Noel with us for this week’s Dreamos Round Table! Victoria’s a fashion designer and creative entrepreneur from Orange County, CA, now pursuing her dreams from Nashville, TN.

Victoria’s faith in God, belief for what’s possible, and approach to creativity has opened up doors of opportunity she’s been making the most of. Whether fashion designing, modeling, styling, or creative directing, Victoria continues making moves toward her dreams.

No matter how she’s using her creativity, her passion to love others is the most important part of her process. It’s truly what brings everything she works on to life. We know you’ll be encouraged and inspired as you hear more from her heart, story, and pursuit.

What dream are you currently turning into reality?

Right now, I’m turning my dreams of being a fashion designer into reality. Although it may take a few more years for that to come into full light, I’m still pursuing anything fashion related through modeling, styling, or creative directing - All while finishing my last semester of university. Being creative in every aspect will always be a dream of mine. It’s where I feel most at home and myself.

When did you first realize you discovered your dream?

Since I was little, all I can remember telling people was, “I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up.” I don’t think I ever fully knew what that entailed. AlI I really knew was that I loved everything about clothes, I wanted to make my own, and I wanted to be a part of that world.

I’ve been so blessed to have been able to travel the world growing up, thanks to my absolutely amazing loving parents. This was a huge influence in where I wanted to take my life. Being able to experience so many different cultures and different styles of clothing gave me such a love for this world.

How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?

I think this plays the biggest role in and throughout my life. There have been so many times where I just don’t understand why things happen the way they do - God’s funny that way. Then, I remember the thought that gets me through most days. That everything happens for a reason, and it’s all a part of what God has planned for me and my life. Trusting that can be real tough and frustrating, but knowing that His words are true, loving, and so much more, brings such a peace of mind.

Being a light, and showing continuous love and grace for others is also a big part of who I am and who I strive to be towards others. I want this to always come first, no matter the occasion, and especially when pursuing my dreams. I want this to show itself through my work and being creative. Love is the most important thing you can give someone.

What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?

I think for me, this comes back to the thing I tell myself often - That everything truly does happen for a reason. There will be so many times where we might never get to know what that reason may be, but just by looking back even three years ago, my life was in a completely different place. I could not be more thankful for the things I had to go through to get to where I am now. As hard and difficult as some of those times were, I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.

What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?

Never doubt yourself for a second. You don’t know what you’re capable of until you put yourself out there and try it. Seriously. I am still figuring this out about myself in so many aspects. It feels so assuring knowing you can accomplish the dreams you have.

ALSO, there is no rush - You don’t need to have it all figured out. You have your entire life to live, to learn, and to make mistakes. Learning from it all is the best part.
