Rollson Clement

We’re stoked to have our friend Rollson Clement with us for this week’s Dreamos Round Table! Rollson’s a fashion model and actor pursuing his dreams from Nashville, TN.

Rollson’s every ambition is woven together by his faith in God’s grace and timing. Whether it’s acting or modeling, he puts all of who he is into every single opportunity. To Rollson, it’s never just about a project, but about how he can make a tangible difference in whatever environment he finds himself in.

His love for creativity, trust in the process, and persistence along the pursuit has empowered him to turn dreams to reality. We know you’ll be encouraged and inspired as you hear more from his heart, story, and pursuit.

What dream are you currently turning into reality?

I’m currently working toward becoming a full time model and actor.

When did you first realize you discovered your dream?

I always had an eye for the fashion and entertainment industry. It fascinated me how fashion allows someone to make a statement and express themselves without having to say a word.

Additionally, as a kid, it blew my mind watching a movie. To know the actors were acting, but when done well, forgetting all of that and getting lost in the way they could make you feel. I wanted to be part of something like that.

How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?

I have dabbled in acting and modeling here and there before, but it all came down to God’s timing.

The seed was there all along - It was just a matter of time before it was going to sprout. Your dream, that desire inside you, is placed there for a reason. When you get frustrated as to why it’s not coming to fruition, just remember - You have to water the seed while it’s buried for it to grow!

Just keep doing your part and preparing. When your preparation meets God’s timing, you become an unstoppable force.

What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?

To keep moving forward, and to make sure I keep improving, I consistently practice my craft. I work on my poses, facial expression, and my walks etc. Aside from that, whether it’s weekly or bi-weekly, I make sure I’m actively creating.

What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?

To anyone chasing after their dreams and goals, I’d say this - Be yourself, and work on improving yourself. That’s how you’ll become the person you need to be to reach your dreams and goals.

Also, don’t pretend to be someone you’re not simply for the purpose of being liked, accepted, or to get ahead. You have gifts, talents, and strengths that are specifically designed for you. No one else can bring what you can to the table - There’s only one you. With that, carry yourself with confidence. The only real competition is you, because no one else can ever 100% be on the exact same playing field as you, and vice versa.
