We’re stoked to have our good friend Leyla Rose with us for this week’s Dreamos Round Table! Leyla’s a beauty and fashion content creator building her dreams from London, England.
No matter what content Leyla creates, she puts it all together to make a difference in the lives of her growing audience. Since first beginning her career in 2013, uploading beauty and fashion videos to YouTube, she’s grown her channel to 1.1 million subscribers with over 67 million views.
To Leyla, it’s not simply about new content, but creating with a purpose and passion of being a positive influence - Inspiring both spiritual and mental growth. With God at the center of all she does, Leyla’s focus is fixed on ensuring everything she makes embodies His love.

What dream are you currently turning into reality?
My dream is to create content that moves, inspires and encourages people. Whether it be through outlets of video, photo, artwork or written word; the goal is to intentionally create with purpose in everything I make. I want to always be open to different formats of content as long as the purpose of blessing others is the driving force.
When did you first realize you discovered your dream?
I have been creating beauty and fashion content online for over 6 years and although it’s been fruitful, I felt the direction shift over the last year of how I wanted to move forward. Throughout the pandemic and times of isolation, I had a lot of time to reflect and pray about whether this road was the same one I wanted to continue for the long term. I came to the conclusion that I would take steps back from creating as much beauty and fashion content as I did, and use the extra time to learn, grow and prepare as I transition into the creative I am becoming.
How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?
Faith means not always knowing how something will come together but knowing that it will because of the One who we place our faith in. The relationship I have with God allows me to be constantly reminded of my worth in Him so I may have confidence in what I create. At times, God moves us to make decisions that are not always logical to the eye – But it is an act of faith so that doors that cannot be opened or closed by man, are unlocked. I believe God-given dreams can become reality in our lives, and faith will be the mechanism to make it happen.
What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?
Starting each day with a peaceful disposition is integral to practically move things forward in a positive direction for me. I do believe goal setting and scheduling are great practical steps – But without starting each day with intention, I find it harder to stick to those schedules. I like to wake up earlier than my day needs to start to give myself time to be still, meditate on the Word of God, then reflect upon my practical to-do lists, and face them with the mind of God.
What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?
Oftentimes, the greatest moments of success will come after the smallest steps of faith. You may feel out of your comfort zone and as though the safer option is more appealing than your greatest dream. God didn’t create us to dream small. The dreams are big for a reason – if they were achievable on our own we wouldn’t need God. The dreams in you are so big because our God is bigger and we need to co-work with Him to make them reality.
