What dream are you currently turning into reality?

Pastoring, leading, and coming alongside people as they live out God’s will for their lives is my dream.

Alongside that dream is a desire to use my online platforms as a tool in being a Christian influence in today’s culture. Through Christian comedy and Christian music recommendations on Tiktok, that dream is slowly becoming a reality.

When did you first realize you discovered your dream?

Ever since middle school, I was inspired by young adults who used their platforms to direct people toward God. Those who did had a massive impact on my life, and I wanted to use my own influence to do the same.

I also remember being at my home church’s worship service seeing people encounter God at the altar. In that moment, I felt God impress on my heart a passion for the local church. From then on, I’ve done all I can to cultivate moments like that for those who are lost and broken to encounter Jesus.

How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?

Being a pastor in the local church, my faith has absolutely everything to do with walking out all God has called me to do. My faith keeps me accountable to something bigger than myself - To God.

What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?

I keep a constant devotion to prayer, reading of Scriptures, and taking the time to intentionally meet with people. What I’ve learned from leaders that have gone before me, is that you can’t lead with your tank on empty. It would be an injustice to yourself and the people following you. So, at the beginning of each week, I create a schedule to practically accomplish what needs to get done.

What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?

Whatever dream God set stirring in your heart - Go after it. Also, always remember, if you don’t quit, you win.
